Hey there guys

Sorry I havn't blogged for a while, but here you go!

I am very busy at the moment - I have got the big site in the works at the moment. I have also just won a couple more bits of work, so have loads on! (not necessarily a bad thing?!?!)

Oh, must just comment that this 8mm film is quite good, but nasty plot and story line, but not a bad film at all.

All this snow in the last day or two got me thinking. There seem to be two types of people, those that are really keen to get to work, for whatever reason, and those that cannot be arsed to go and look for any excuse not to.

A Story :-
On that snowy Thursday, I took the dog for a walk alog the road. The road goes down into a dip and back up the other side again. As i got back up out of the dip (with the dog), I came accross a bloke in a big, heavy, rear-wheel drive Jag (it was about 10:15). He was sitting there spinning his wheels trying to get up this hill. He was smartly dressed and said "G' Morning" as I walked past. I replied with a comment such as "Mornin'. You seem quite keen to get to work". He replied with "Yeah, I have been trying to get out this fu**ing dip since 7:30 when I left from the other end of this road (less than 1 mile). That is what you have to do when you run your own business." It got me thinking when I then watched the news later on that day, talking about all these schools being closed because the teachers couldn't get in. Now, the smart dude in the car was dedicated to his work, obviously, some of the teachers were not!

I have no idea if this dude was/is/will be successful, but I wonder if this man will either a) enjoy life more, b) make more money or c) die trying!

It reminded me of a quote: "Achievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.", and I do believe that is what the Gentleman was doing!

Im going to post now, because I am sure you are all SO desperate to read my latest "installment".

Cheers and God Speed.

Two exciting things have just happened:

  1. I have just added a new feature to the site here - the gallery is now no longer under construction.
  2. I have just added the first article to the Articles section

With regards to the gallery, I know there are only a couple of photos up there, and from them, I am sure you can tell that I am, infact, a car-nut (a.k.a. petrol head!)

I also just read an article on the web (please see the article section) about the Nintendo Wii (one of which I have owned now for about a week). Paraphrasing, it says that you COULD loose weight by playing as little as 30 minutes a day on it. So, I am going to try!!

Anything else going on with me? No, not really, just facing another week of work.

Sure you will be hearing from me soon!

Hi For The First Time
2007-01-27 11:56:43

Hi there for the first time!

Last night, when I couldn't sleep, I built this site (from start to finish) although, there will be some future updates, e.g. Gallery.

Just after I finished creating the site, I typed out a really long blog entry, but my browser crashed before I got to upload it - really iritating :-(

This is a quote from my journal on deviantart (see the link page), "As part of my business, I will soon be launching two awesome new websites - I cant tell you much about it right now, but one is going to be HUGE (i dont mean like Facebook huge I mean MASSIVE!) I will be posting more here about that as and when!"

Oh well, 1 site down, 10 more to do!! Will go now to shower and do some work :-)

God Speed
